NESV Ice is a modern ice facility in Attleboro, Massachusetts, with approximately 108,205 square feet of usable building space and 126,992 square feet of gross leasable area across two stories. The facility sits on about 12.39 acres and was built in 2016 as a major anchor of the broader New England Sports Village concept.
The rink was designed for teams, leagues, training programs, tournaments, private rentals, public skating, and family entertainment. Its ice surfaces, support spaces, parking, hospitality, and athlete services make it a true multi-use sports destination.

Two full-size hockey sheets support games, practices, camps, leagues, tournaments, and high-volume ice scheduling.
3/4 studio rink
A smaller studio sheet gives NESV flexible ice for training, lessons, development sessions, and specialized programming.

A dedicated goalie sheet supports goalie-specific training, repetitions, and individual development work.
Seasonal versatility
One surface can support additional indoor activity during warmer months, including hockey-style and court-style uses.

In addition to the ice surfaces, NESV includes a state-of-the-art hockey skills center with Rapid Shot training, synthetic training surfaces, and a unique double-wide two-player treadmill. The facility also supports strength training, performance work, physical therapy, skate rentals, private locker rooms, and player-focused spaces.
That combination lets players move from ice time to skill work, off-ice development, recovery, and hospitality without leaving the building.

NESV Ice is a 110,000 square foot ice facility with two full NHL sheets, a 3/4 sheet studio rink, and a goalie pad. It also includes a full state-of-the-art hockey skills center with a Rapid Shot System, three synthetic surfaces, and a unique double-wide two-player treadmill.
The facility is also home to family entertainment, party and reception space, The Barn, Dunkin’, athlete strength and conditioning through Athletic Performance Training, and physical therapy through Performance Physical Therapy.

Michael Balzarini
Business & Hockey Development | Scheduling | Private Lessons
When Michael is not on skates, he is head of Business and Hockey Development at NESV.
Michael was first introduced to the hockey rink at the age of 4 and has had a passion for the ice ever since. He played high school hockey for Catholic Memorial and college hockey at Assumption College. He has coached youth and high school teams for more than 15 years and is currently the Varsity Boys Head Hockey Coach at Mansfield High School. Michael brings creativity, hockey experience, and personal relationship management to NESV’s programs.

Michael Donovan
Hockey Coach | Skills Trainer
Michael is an experienced member of the NESV hockey coaching staff.
Michael trains players across the hockey spectrum, from young skaters to skilled high school players. He focuses on fundamentals, attitude, confidence, discipline, communication, and helping players build strengths while improving weaker areas of their game.
